Harley
I have a 2006 Ultra with 29000 miles. While on a trip from Daytona Beach to The west coast the inner cam bearings failed and split the oil pump in pieces. It cost me two thousand dollars to get the bike back to Florida and Harley Davidson won't do anything about it. I am three months out of warranty and they say it is my problem.
Rest assured this is the last Harley I will ever own. They are "JUNK"

I agree with you for the most
I agree with you for the most part Harley's are truly junk but at the same time they are a whole lot of fun to ride when they are not broken. The truth is that they make great static display's but road worthy they are not. I hope that when the shop changed your cam bearings they also changed your cam chain and cam chain tensioners, since they generally tend to go around 20-25K. I might suggest that you review the bill for your repairs and see if they did anything with your jugs, piston's and rungs. When an oil pump blows into pieces more often than not, the jugs and the valve train get hit a as well. I suspect that once Harley goes away from the twin cam and offers only a water cooled engine, they will be done since they can not compete in quality or price points against the Japanese or German bike manufacturer's. The only thing that has saved there ass up to this point is the thump thump of the big V-Twin's. Time will tell it always does, check out the insane number of repairs that my 2000 Road King has experienced, it is published on Clayton's web site.
Good luck!
Gabe
