2006 dyna stator design problems

Please note the rotar is bolted together on these bikes and tends to back out the bolts which trashs the stator when it all falls apart. The replacement part is welded together , so the problem has been identified and fixed. Will the motor company recall all the Dyna line for 2006 to replace this part? I only hope so as the fix is not cheap. I have lost that loving feeling , and live in fear of what part will fail next. My bike has 25,000 km or 15,000 miles how long should parts last? This is not a part that is on the service list so the only way to tell is to listen for the sound of marbels in a blender. When you hear that you can bet that your rotar/stator just went into the toilet. I would love to hear from others with the same pproblem.

stator

I have a 06 lowrider mine lasted 23402 miles and as they say sounded like metal parts in a blender. Had a buddy repair/replace all total $397.18 and a 5th of cc ! Gotta love friends like that. I will start on hd about getting at least my $$$ back for the failed parts wish me luck !

**06' Dyna Lowrider Stater.... Recall or Not?

Just heard an awful sound on my dyna 06' lowrider. Pulled over on the freeway and a fellow rider pulled over to help.

I told her what was going on and she told me that the noise sounded exactly like what she had just went through.

She went on to say that she had the stator replaced and it was a recall issue?

Anyone know about this because I need some information before I go to Harley.

Thanks
Tami
